Blackstage Pole is an events company that exists to centre pole dancers of colour, particularly those with intersecting identities, so those who are also Trans, Queer, disabled, low-income, sex workers, or plus-sized. Blackstage currently runs workshops, talks and a big annual professional pole show. Blackstage operates with accessibility, inclusivity and ethical wages at its core and has a strong focus on decolonising pole by reshaping the way the pole industry interacts with race, Queerness, sex work, and wages. You Filthy Events

You Filthy Events was created by the wonderfully spicy, retired stripper, Emma Coffey back in 2018. She felt a void in pole events, something was missing, an itch needed scratching (or tickling).

Pole dancers needed somewhere where they could be their genuine sexy selves whilst also being in a safe space, surrounded by encouraging likeminded people, uplifting strippers and stripper style, employing and consulting with strippers and sex workers at every event. A place where every body was welcome, from completely amateur to pro. No shame, no blame, just fun and frivolous naughtiness. Ergo You Filthy Amateur was born!

We have now widened our horizons since that wonderful day to include You Filthy Fucker, for those that just have to have another bash at it, You Filthy Floor Fucker, for you lovely silky floorwork lovers out there and finally, Peppermint Fox and Peppermint One, Our Showcases, for those that don’t want the pressure of competitions but just want to perform.

You Filthy Events thrive on the wave of self-love and encouragement from its audience, staff and performers buzz with every single show which makes it 100% worth it.

Breast & Chest Awareness

As presented by Jill!

As a hobby poler and a nurse, and being lucky enough to watch the first PDSM comp this year, I decided to combine the two. Following emails with the fabulous Gemma Rose, she kindly let me sponsor a stand at next year’s competition. I will be there to appreciate the dancers and hopefully education, reassure and enlighten the competitors and audience in what to look for, worries about breast and chest changes and what to do/where to go.
